It breaks down as follows: Quote rt1.4.3-13-g582a3a5 "rt" stands for Ripple Trade, the web client that started doing this first. Nowadays, a bunch of desktop clients add "rt" "1.4.3" is almost certainly the version number "13" is the probably build number "g582a3a5" is most likely the (short version) hash of the Git commit that was built. Doesn't look like that's one of the commits to ripple/ripple-client though. So yeah, I don't think you're going to glean much else from that memo.
