Wow good for you, I have one referal thus far... grateful for that as well B)

I would've been happy with only 5 when I started out with 0, I had no idea so many people would actually sign up lol. $0,00 profit so far though. 10% of fees isn't that much taking in consideration that the most used payments don't have a fee anyway :P Let's hope this bankera is going to boom and it might generate a nice meal or something :P

***SCAM ALERT***

Sent ETH early after they opened the ICO...they were "lost in transition" and they are "working on the problem". It seems everyone that used ETH have the same problem. More than 2.5 days later, still nothing...but the worst is, no warning message on their page to say "don't send ETH, we have a problem".

Wow this turns out to be a right big old soap opera, I'm looking through the different fora and see two 'lines'.

1. Some older threats of accountholders that cant access there BTC/Accounts are being blocked

Here is someone who's analysing it from the sideline. Than there is user jerngyue which created 180 ccards with different and fake names, which he fails to mention in his complains on bitcointalk.org. Also the people with the accounts Rastaways and Alert Guy that claim to be scammed are 'yelling/spamming' the fora a lot themselves with the acquisitions. Gives me the feeling that they are not really 100% legit... Seems like spectrocoin gave up and stopped commenting, which isnt very wise on the communication front.

2. People not receiving their ETH on their Spectro-account

These seem to be new customers who wanted to buy Bankera and got left stranded because of technical issues and bad communication from spectrocoin. That looks really messy and spectrocoin f***ed up big time there. The complainers from the point above throw oil on the fire to make everything look even worse! Funny thing is that I used BTC to buy some BNK and that only took me half an hour after the ICO started. And that was only because the website was over encumbered with traffic (another technical f****up)

I'm not presenting facts persé just stating what I think and I'm curious if you guys see the same trends...

P.S. I am in no way related to the company, just bought BNK which I want to see succeed of course!

I think it's a bit overreacting to regard this as a scam instantly. Most people **** up themselves (forget to send the minimum required amount f.e.) and then go on forums like bitcointalk to try to make it look like a scam.

Always be careful, but please do your own research and then make your own conclusion. Too much traffic on the website on the pre-ico will be a good thing eventually, believe me ;)

So far as I'm concerned, everyone got their ETH back within 72hours (which is a bit long but still nowhere close to being a scam, banks nowadays take the same amount of time for transactions). Spoke with multiple people via PM who had problems and they ALL got solved.

However, I'm not going to put a lot of money on spectrocoin as well. I just want to see where this Bankera thing is going.

Funny @PRX, I had a PM from another person with the same question.

Here's my answer

Quote

The reasons:

- they knew in first few hours of the opening of the ICO they had a problem with ETH, but never warned anyone, never posted any information, and people kept sending ETH without knowing they would be lost in transition

- they hired some community manager to copy paste the same message over and over cause they wanted to calm down the angry  crowd - only at Bankera chat site, never at Specrto - but still didn't publicly acknowledge the problem...so they ICO would keep on going

- they didn't offer a withdraw ETH button...so everyone had to either go on with the BNK exchange or convert at a premium to BTC...they made money off the conversion and never offer to  cover the lost

That and the fact that message at the Bankera chat were just empty "don't worry" while days were going by...this is a clear strategy to make sure the ICO would not be disturbed...for me, this is a SCAM ALERT....what's next? Can you really trust people like that. I don't. Now you do what you think is best with your money, I'm not going to post anything anymore about the subject. Anyone is free to make their own conclusion.

Here's my answer

1.850.247.899 BNK of 2.500.000.000 BNK distributed in 5 days.

2.500.000.000 was the maximum they were taking in consideration when launching. (bankera.com/#ico)

The conclusion I make out of this is that this pre-ICO went WAY better than they expected. That is probably the reason for the overload on the server.

I don't say it's a good thing that this happened but Gatehub.net has been down before. Bitstamp has. Poloniex has. Coinbase has. So these are all scams?

Sometimes I can't access my regular bank account because there's a random - unannounced - maintenance. They don't tell me how long this is going to take or when I can access it again. So my bank is a scam?

I'm not saying this is 100% legit - where money is involved there's the risk of greedy people. Do your own research. Make your own conclusion. But just concluding that this is a total scam because of the problems with launching the pre-ICO doesn't seem fair to me.

The guys who messaged me on here that they had problems with depositing (because they didn't send the minimum amount) all had their problems solved within 72h. Their support tickets got replied. I shooted gatehub.net a support ticket 2 weeks ago I still didn't got a reply. So I should spam that gatehub.net is a scam now?

All I'm saying is that I don't know how legit this is, but let's stay fair with judgements and take more into consideration than a problem that occurred.

It's located in Lithuania - we all know this isn't the most secure country regarding financial stuff. But when I look into the team and advisors on board - I don't think these people are participating to scam people. There's enough money to be made if this is going to be a success.

SpectroCoin has been around for almost 5 years. If this was a total scam, how would this have survived for so long?
Look at the team and the advisors. Do you really think these people are going to risk their reputation - some have a pretty damn good history in business - for a scam?

Each BNK will cost €.01 on the Pre-ICO and depending on the amount of BNKs sold there, the price for the ICO will be decided. At what price do you exepect the ICO to begin ?

it's going to be 0.17 !!

I explained my point of view already, but you omit what I'm saying. Anyway, you're pushing this so much I believe you're invested in it...so gl.

I am, but for a small amount (€20 first now €50). I am thankful for people also pointing out the negative sides of something, we need to take everything in consideration, but still, we need to make a fair judgement. I am also trying to be realistic so the things you pointed out are really valuable to me (and others) so we can look more into this.
