prkzingis
Last night I tried to jump into Bitcoin Cash a little bit. Got in at 0.16 and went out at 0,168. So not great, but that was small profit. Than again, I was waching it hit 0.197 at Polo just to go back to 0.182 and than I got in again thinking that it will hit 0.2. It never recovered and now I am stuck at BCH 0.165 currently. I don't know what to to. Lost 300-400 XRPs , big for me. Risk or cut loses? This **** is too volatile.update: touching 0.168 and going up. Wait or no? Edited August 19, 2017 by prkzingis
lowlarkin
I tried doing a bit of daytrading yesterday. Complete and utter FIASCO!!! I sold some xrp, bought btc and with that bought some Lisk. Was going great for about 10 minutes, didn't sell, got greedy and lost about $300!! I decided to cut my losses and pulled out when it was about $4.20 per coin. Good thing I did, right now it's $2.88. Re-bought xrp and am now staying put! No more speculating for me. This sh*t's just not worth it. I was checking my computer and phone every 5 seconds. Horrible feeling. Day trading in very volatile markets can be too risky. Once I was doing the same. I put buy market orders at Polo, then at that moment Polo crashed, when it came back my market orders were met at very high prices which costed me 17.000 dollars loss. I never do day trading again

Trisky
If you do day trading, you must have a plan, use cash you can gamble with and use the right tools (imho). Most 'noobs' are left behind in the dust. Nothing goes according to plan in crypto land. Edited August 21, 2017 by Ripplezzzz mvenneau
Leo
Actually If *ucking Polo servers hadn't crashed, everthing was going right with the plan But I agree with you 3 minutes ago, Ripplezzzz said: Nothing goes according to plan in crypto land. AbeFroman
I decided about a week and a half ago that I would take $150 and start day trading with it to see how much I can increase or to see how inept I am. I started with DGB and quickly made a $30 profit which I reinvested in BCH and lost almost completely before jumping to BTC to stop my losses near break even. The BTC gained me a little money over the course of a few days until I dropped it into XRP yesterday and am now up about $50 from my original $150. All of this required keeping a constant eye on prices which imo is not worth the stress. I am curious if any casual traders successfully day trade on a small scale?
