Me, too! I had been asking for help from Klas Urekar (Support Manager of GateHub), he told me to give him the public address and the corresponding secret key to him for inspection. I did this. Later on, he replied and told me to create a New Ripple Account. Then he transferred some XRP on the New XRP account I recreated and told me to transferred back 1 XRP to the send account. This time the New XRP wallet works and seems working properly. Afterwards, I received another mail on 17-Jul-2017 to told me they will follow up on this account and ask for my patience for the process. However, up to now my XRP still not transfer back from Old wallet to New wallet.

Does anyone have the same experience of mine? Does any one who successfully get back their XRP tell me how lone does this process takes?

That’s the same exact thing that has happened to me. I’ve tried getting a hold of Klas who has been great up until this point, but it’s been so long since I’ve heard from them...

i really dont don’t know what to do in this situation anymore. I’ve tried contacting @enej as well.

I have the exact same issue.  I have an email from Klas on July 28th telling me my wallet was going to be refunded.  I have gotten no reponse, after multiple emails, from him or anyone else at Gatehub since then.

Is anyone getting a response?

Well if you guys have the ripple public and private keys, then it shouldn't be a problem transferring your wallet? Also, it is a ripple wallet so your XRP can't be held hostage.

Unless you are referring to the Primary GateHub Hosted Wallet, then yeah, I have no clue.

GateHub support asked you for a secret key? That sounds weird.

Yes, its weird. But since some of the guy did this and had their problem solved so I also tried the same. I have no further responds for nearly two months from his last email which he told me to be patient for the refund.

Agreed. Did the same to me.

This request indicates that they managed to somehow permanently "lose" encrypted secret keys. Maybe due to a similar bug such as this one: https://www.xrpchat.com/topic/8032-secret-key-doesnt-match-public-key/

Otherwise they could do anything they need to do in front-end code (which has access to secret key) or in a code that runs on their server id.gatehub.net (this server has also access to password and can decrypt the secret key).

Their willingness to reimburse "lost" XRPs also points in that direction.
