Hey,

this is Neil from B2B Pay. happy to be mentioned in the discussion forums out here :) We are actually working on something very cool to connect IBAN (virtual bank accounts) to the blockchain. hopefully we can share our white paper in the next month or so.

our focus is not to build something which is theoretical and requires a network effect (example: lets replace SWIFT) but something that people can start using instantly.

Word. Word.

So, any comment on the ripple section on the B2B part of the site?

:flirt:

What blockchain? You are going to build your own blockchain for this?

Also, a part of Ripple's Solution can connect to any bank account instantly already.

HI.

We wrote two draft articles on replacing the current IBAN system. we believe the time is now to replace to replace not only the  the SWIFT network and global banking infrastructure with something much simpler. I would love to get your opinion on the two articles we wrote on creating a global protocol to replace IBANs (international bank account numbers), which are currently country specific and issues by Banks.

OUCH to XRP!

How is the protocol different than current projects like Ripple, Hyperledger, Earthport, SWIFT and local clearing houses.

Majority of the projects are looking to either replace SWIFT or creating a better messaging system between banks and financial institutions. These are all closed looped system requiring buy in from a large number of banks. Benefits to users of these projects i still debatable as it highly depends per bank.

The EBAN protocol is about decentralisation and a messaging protocol at its heart like bitcoin or email. It doesn't rely on the need for every institution and regulator to “buyin” to the idea and concept which would take decades to implement.

How does the protocol improve settlement and reduce capital requirements for cross-asset payments?

Seems they cooperate with Bottomline Technologies

And take a look at the  pricing for electronic payment :scare:
They have nothing to do with Ripple. And the link "https://www.b2bpay.co/tags/ripple-payments"
It's just "tags" to search for on there site, one link appears and it's just general information about cryptocurrencies.

I will say two things.  Typos kill.  They make you look less than professional to any English speaking potential customer.  And, why would banks prefer this over other protocols in which they have more trust?

I completely understand the ability to sell decentralization, but banks work on instilling trust in their customers.  It is their lifeblood.  I'm not sure I understand how you are selling that point?

Which cryptocurrency or blockchain are you using or planning to use? Are you planning to create one?

1) do you accept crypto traders to your platform
2) do you issue unique IBAN per client or per currency of the client account
3) do you support instance transfer between partnered banks?
