He is making up several reasons in his articles.
So it is compositive and complicated.
Simply, he explains that it is not necessary to use Ripple and XRP for banks and FIs.

"banks can fork Ripple"
"they can use Ripple in part"
"it can be like blah-blah-blah"
"banks are likely to do blah-blah-blah"

Something like that.
The problem is that he is doing it with insistence as if it is truth.

Yeah that's unfortunate, maybe someone can call him out and prove him wrong, otherwise yeah let ripple and XRP do the talking, when earthport goes live or they bring other commercial products online, also with ILP. I figure people in Japan are smart enough to do their own research and come to their own conclusion, but also can see that he is biased and favors BTC...

I would ask him what he thinks would help Ripple/XRP. If Ripple's intended customers are banks only who prefer a closed network with a fresh and exclusively bank owned XRP, then why not thinking about going that way. Ripple might sell their platform to R3 (this is a now or never situation). One way to handle current XRP would be changing it for stakes in a fund that holds bank issued new XRP. In other words, current XRP holders do not have a functional cc anymore but shares in fund that effectively equals bank_network_XRP.

hmm, these kind of people try to earn profits without any regard for appearances.
So some people suspect that he is buying XRP at a lower price by doing it.
If so, he is only prejudicing the value of Ripple. I'm not sure about that, though.

They are slowing down distribution, I bet it will be even less next month, as far as I know there are no wallets selling XRP on a constant basis like we've seen over the past 2 years, but that could always change. We'll see what happens, if they completely stop distributing then I'm not sure what's going on...

Distribution is increasing each month, about 429 million in March, so that's a good sign. I would expect the rate to increase even more once they launch the market making incentive program...

Did they stop the distribution?
Only 51 million XRPs were distributed this time.

Is it me or are these numbers not adding up right?
