Hi all,

I just put 200 euro's in Etoro account to invest in XRP. Now i wanted to get the XRP out again and get the money back in my bank account. This seems to be impossible. Everytime i try to 'Sell' my xrp on Etoro, i come to a page where i can Only deposit new money in to XRP. I think it's a scam, and i lost my money. Can somebody tell me how to Really sell XRP to funds and get my money back by withdrawal.

I´m reading in this great xrp chat since month and never signed up because just reading was great :)

but now i have to write and please forgive me, but this is a stupid question and i really want to tell you, keep away from trading or stuff like that, you will lose a lot if not everything

so but now about your question about etoro..you don´t buy xrp´s on etoro. you don´t have xrp after a buy, you just buy something like option..so you can not sell xrp after it. the sell option is if you want to bet on a falling xrp..if you bet 10 dollar on sell and xrp will fall than you get money.

to get your money back, you have to close the trade, it is the big fat red cross. after this the money will get back to your account and you can withdrawal it to your bank account.

so by the way, it was right of etoro to tell you, that you have to deposit if you want to sell..

etoro had a few problems in the past with withdrawing money to the peope, like poloniex...but it isn´t scam. i used it for more than two years and nearly everything went well..ok sometimes the spread was to high, sometimes the stop lose didn´t worked or something like that, but it is just a usual cfd platform

by the way the second: etoro has a virtual account for everyone. i would recomment you that you use this one before putting real money on the account. try for at least three month, than you have seen everything

so basically, to make it simple – are you saying he's not buying "real" XRPs?

but instead her is buying options/futures/whatever derivatives (and thus cannot withdraw)?

yes, you are not buying "real" xrps nor bitcoin or whatever what on etoro. you are doing a trade on them. you trade on the increase or the decrease of that option. so you are not able to transfer xrp´s or btc´s to a wallet, because you don´t have any of them.

so to withdraw money from etoro you have to close the trade with the big cross at the end (the wheel is for options, like stop loose and so on)

but i have to say, etoro isn´t a bad option for trading with cryptos. for example i have "some" xrp´s bought on kraken or bittrex, i don´t remember:), and they are in my ledger nano.

if i want to sell them, i have to withdraw them back to an exchange and this need time. not so much for xrp, but for bitcoin and other coins. that´s why a have a small amount on etoro that i´m able to react to dips. but this is just for playing around, maybe making some small profit.

For the newbie "traders", there is no official regulated broker where you can buy any Cryptocoin....this is a non regulated market so there is no Official law that can support this king of product for the regulated brokers. So they are offering CFDs and others derivates that simulate the average price of the real coins.

If you want to buy coins find a list of (exchanges) where you can do that.
