Toast Wallet for XRP

Recommended Posts

Recently I've just heard about a new wallet called ToastWallet. I believe they've been available for android for almost a week now and should launch on the IOS AppStore this week. If anyone has tried the wallet do you feel that it is a safe and reliable option.

Thanks ??

I believe the first version to be released will be the enterprise edition.  Then, shortly after that, I think they will follow with a consumer version.

Unless I am mistaken you are speaking about the Ripple sponsored BitGo - silly enterprise wallet - that invites hackers to attack both the desktop/laptops of enterprise customer's server wallet and then also the associated phone wallet. This system is centralized and uses Browser JavaScript software as its core engine. It would appear that BitGo was chosen because BitGo is currently providing security services to centralized exchanges, such as, Bitfinnex. Ripple, the corporation is interested in centralized banking customers. It is a perfect fit for the Ripple business model, however, not so good anything else.

I believe Toast (New Zealand based company) is a peer to peer wallet and not centralized.

I am waiting to see the Toast iOS implementation.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

Sorry, you're right, I was confusing the two.
