Xrphunter
Ripple users have been looking for some alternative XRP wallet solutions. It is somewhat strange to learn so few options are available at this point in time. Toast Wallet is a new open source XRP wallet for multiple platforms and operating systems. So far, it seems to be well-received but always do your own research when dealing with third party software solutions. Alternatives are always in high demand, though.... http://www.livebitcoinnews.com/toast-wallet-free-open-source-wallet-solution-xrp-users/amp/
Danny
I have an iPad with iOS 9.3.5 (can't update to 11) and Toast Wallet which has worked well, until today. When I open Toast Wallet, it keeps showing the spinner/sandbox. When I installed Toast Wallet on my iPad (a couple of months ago) it never generated a Ripple Secret, as far as I remember. Had I had the Ripple Secret, then I could have added my existing account to Toast Wallet on my iMac. I suppose the big mistake I made was not making a backup of the Toast Wallet account on my iPad. Is there anything else I can do? I have passphrase, Ripple address and recovery key. Edited September 27, 2017 by Danny
missdaboat
Isn't it safer to store it in a Ledger Nano S with Ripple support built-in ? I am using the hardware solution. Software route don't cut it for my PREVIOUS.... Vacek_aka_Luschka and henisoomati

Though it took some time, the issue was wonderfully solved and we managed to import my existing wallet (the one on my iPad which froze) to Toast wallet on my iMac. I can't even begin to tell you how glad I am I did learn how important it is to make backups of your wallet and to have passphrase, recovery key and Ripple secret. Thank you so much Toast Wallet for your time, patience and effort! Edited September 28, 2017 by Danny Xrphunter, Khaleesi and Kiir
