XRPCharts Orderbook Different From API Pull

Recommended Posts

I'm getting a bid-ask of 0.174x0.175 right now through ripplelib (the Ripple API), but the xrp charts shows the price has been hitting 0.18 sporadically and has a bid-ask well above that.  Is that accurate or is the Data API buggy right now?

Bitstamp and everywhere else also show a lower bid-ask than .18:

Xrpcharts has to import the ledgers first. Currently, the ledger import is paused. (the yellow dot in the right corner).

I wouldn't rely on it to have up-to-date order books. Even though it would be great to have a tool that acts like xrpcharts but with real-time data.

Ok I didn't know that Ripple Charts was not real time.  That's strange they do not just query the API like the rest of us.  Thanks.  Had me worried that my code was broken.

RippleCharts draws data from api v2, iirc.
You could build your own instance, as seen here https://ripple.com/build/data-api-v2/#running-the-historical-database
