kanaas
Was trying to do a payment of only $1 USD with some 40K XRP on my account (Ripple wallet @gatehub) but I always got this error: Error tecPATH_DRY Path could not send partial amount. Thereafter I traded some XRP to have $2 Bitstamp.USD on my account and with this the $1 USD payment went through.... Problem with RCL pathfinding? Or with Gatehub? cap
I'm having this problem too, trying to withdraw money. I tried two different amounts, yesterday and today, and both times I got the same message. Any ideas on how to solve it? (And please don't say contact Gatehub customer service. A person can grow old waiting for GH customer service to reply to an email.) pftq
I remember having this early during the development of my wallet. I think it's a rounding error (where you might have .9999 instead of 1). I don't think I see it anymore after setting a flag to allow partial payments (aka send up to whatever you got). If Gatehub doesn't let you set flags on your orders, I think they have to address their code directly. If you have the transaction id of the failed payment, I can take a look to be more certain. cap
Thanks, but I'm not sure where the transaction ID is. Besides, I've tried at least four times (which, I imagine, is four different transaction IDs), in two days, with two separate accounts, and I keep getting the same error message. Yes but each one of those tran ids will have the details that he is asking for to help you. If you are reluctant to publish too much openly why not PM him so he can assist with getting the Id he asked for. You've got a helpful high knowledge programmer offering to help you but you knock that back?
cap
Actually, the withdrawal just went through. (It "only" took five attempts and two days.) Now I have to hope the money shows up in my bank account sometime before September. Last time, it took more than three weeks. Gatehub is fine -- until you want to withdraw your money. Then it's an unmitigated disaster. In any case, thanks for the offer to help, @pftq.
