Gatehub Money Deposit

Hi fellow members,

I recently purchased more xrp's but, Gatehub is holding onto money that hasn't been deposited into my wallet because apparently my brother-in-law can't make the deposit into my wallet.  I received an email from their support manager Klas Urekar and he was going to make a one time exception if I can explain to him the relationship of the person depositing the money into the account.  I did but, till this day no response.  It has been a week and it's quite a bit of hard earn money.  Any suggestions?  I submitted several gatehub support tickets, even went to twitter to connect with Klas but, still no response.  There is no direct number and I need that money into the wallet asap.  Any one experience similar problems?  Is gatehub trustworthy?  I am beginning to doubt their abilities and transparency.  Look either deposit the money or return to the sender either way, it's not their money to hold on to.  Let me know if you guys have any suggestions or solutions.  Thanks!

Honestly none of the exchanges have been responsive as of late. They have not scaled properly, don't have the resources to handle the transactions and are probably too busy counting the cash being thrown at them.

I don't think gatehub untrustworthy, but they are over their heads, like pretty much any crypto service is in times like these. Having said that, you might need to check on the laws for your area that apply to someone else putting money in your name. In most places this is a taxable situation unless its a gift that falls under a certain amount. If it was a wire transfer from your brother in law, I'd say he has to check with his bank about getting the money back if Gatehub can't accept it.

Thanks, I see.  What are you using?  I thought gatehub was trustworthy... but, then again what is?  I am thinking of moving my money out of the wallet into some other platform.  Seriously any suggestions?  This is frustrating because we deposited the money before the fork and now we won't be ready to buy incase of a collapse.

Don't hold your breath waiting for a reply, I transferred 1000 GBP to Gatehub on the 12th July, my bank in the UK confirmed that the funds were received by Gatehub's bank in Slovenia on the 12th (Which in it's self amazing) I even have a completion number !! But to date no funds in my account and no response from support or responses via private messages to Enej. It is a sorry state of affairs as both my bank and Gatehub's bank advise Gatehub is the only entity that can instigate an investigation. I can't wait until my Nano s arrives so that I can drop Gatehub for good.

Haggy,

I just want to give you an update.  Gatehub came through and the money arrived.  They did an awesome job.  It was our fault to begin with.  Luckily it's there just before the segwit update.

Koool206, Great news, the missing transfer I had has also been sorted, I called Gatehub's bank in Slovenia and they were very helpful and called Gatehub, they advise that Gatehub have found my funds and they are or should I say were in my account as I have already got more XRP. GO XRP.
