celticwarrior72
I finally zeroed out my SnapSwap.us balance and removed the trustline to my wallet. Just a note to say thanks to Denis, Dmitry and Anna at SnapSwap. They created a ground breaking gateway on an incredible new technology and demonstrated that Ripple can indeed be used to move funds anywhere instantly. SnapSwap.us will be missed. tulo
Why BTC.snapswap has still high volume? Who are the crazy BTC holders? What happens after today to the issued BTC?

What happens after today to the issued BTC? BTC.snapswap === btc2ripple.com They only do not serve USA customers anymore (they cannot deposit and withdraw). For the rest BTc2Ripple is up and running as usual. edit: But they have to think of a way for customers to send BTC out of the network. It is possible with RippleTrade but that is only available until March or something (for non-USA customers). You can build withdrawal method yourself by using the federation protocol. Not sure if their engine wil serve USA customers though. Edited January 14, 2016 by jn_r

jn_r
yep. Yesterday - last time I used it - it worked for me. In RT you can send by specifying <bitcoin address>@btc2ripple.com Edited January 14, 2016 by jn_r tulo

You send using your ripple-address. They could check for withdrawal to see if that address is registered at btc2ripple.com (mine is - for deposit reasons). I don't know if they actually do that. I also remember some setting of a max10 BTC for not-registered users, but really don't know if that is still applicable. The ultimate test would be to send a little BTC from a not-registered account, but I haven't done that yet..
