pucksterpete
I recently sent Enej an email Quote Hi Enej, I recently came across one of your ILP demos (2016) with Gatehub & Bitstamp ILP video I have a couple of questions. Will this feature be available on Gatehub and if so when? Also, any idea why there isn't an IOU for EUR on Bitstamp, like they have for USD? Tnx Pete If anyone else has any info on this, I would love to know Tnx Edited July 11, 2017 by pucksterpete Xi195

There are EUR, GBP and some other Bitstamp IOUs on RCL. Remnants from before they dropped them. Your best bet would be to inquire the respected support department. pucksterpete

I was wondering the same...probably they are not interested into moving EUR volume on Ripple.

How would they make markets between USD and EUR? I'd still prefer if they also issued stuff on RCL, ILP is not that great for trading.

Yeah... good luck in finding anyone who wants to do that for competitive rates or even at all. An open market with as little entry hurdles as possible (such as RCL provides) is a better solution for now imho. Anyways, there is enough space for both strategies. Bitstamp and Gatehub bank with the same bank. All they'd need is to take the bank's rate and apply small spread on it(or even without the spread). If balanced right, they won't even have to move the money at all. It'll be the game of updating internal ledgers (like SBI's regional tokens).
