greenrip
Hey guys. I am total newbie in ripple and gatehub. Correct me if I am wrong. I you want to add funds to your hosted wallet on gatehub you have to do SEPA deposit. This money is addded to your primary wallet( let's say that this is your hosted wallet). Now if you want to buy some xrp you can do this only with the ripple wallet( not hosted one). So you have to move funds from hosted wallet to the ripple wallet. So we have 2 transactions. Now if you want to withdraw to your bank account you have to do 2 transactions again just in oposite order mentioned above. Is this correct? Yeah, correct...but it is actually only one transaction on Ripple (IOUs from Gatehub issuer or hot wallet to your Ripple account). @T8493 Yeah the hosted wallet is not on Ripple. If you see the address is just a number, while Ripple wallets return the Ripple address. I really don't understand the use of hosted wallet. I mean, they can have it internally, without showing it to the customers, and users should only play with one wallet (on Ripple), being able to trade, send payments and so on. This way is over complicated for newbie. Edited January 2, 2016 by tulo
