crypto_rippler
Hey all:) Starting this thread to see is anyone else is facing the same issues as me and maybe we can help each other with a workaround. So, after rippletrade closed I tried to migrate to gatehub and wasn't able to, so I left it at the time and came back to it again recently and a few months ago I tried to migrate from rippletrade again to gatehub. This time, I was able to access both accounts and go through with the migration process right to the end but it said there was an error at the end and my XRP balance on gatehub shows 0 after migration. So I contacted gate hub a few months ago, but have NEVER heard back form them regarding my issue. I sent several chasers and and received Zendesk automated ticket references but have never had a reponse form gatehub, just been completely ignored. I contacted Ripple, and did get responses from them many times, but none that really helped resolve my issue. They even themselves contacted gatehub on my behalf and even to that ticket I have had no response from gatehub! P.s Mods, please let me know if this is in the wrong section or if I am infringing on any forum rules. I'm not having a rant, but just highlighting sharing my experience to see if others have faced the same:) Eric1985
Gary
Well i sent 3 emails in regards a few not so major points a months to 6 weeks ago. No response..and i am concerned because i have my xrp sitting in there..i agree with you.It is so bad and i do believe Ripple should intervene at some level..If a company cannot even acknowledge it's customers they should not have any in my view..I am moving away..just looking for the best place to go. Yes I agree. It's been months and I have sent so many chaser mails, yet no reply from gatehub at all! I have mine in ripple trade still. They respond to messages, but it's like we are talking 2 different languages lol I've asked for access to my secret key after Id verification as it said on their site but they just ignore that. Also, what is your Ripple addy? You can use the account explorer on Ripple Charts to look at wallet balances/activity. https://xrpcharts.ripple.com/#/graph
crypto_rippler
I used the the migration process right to the end but it said there was an error at the end and my XRP balance on gatehub shows 0 after migration. So the problem is my balance still shows 0 on gatehub and I have used the explorer to see my balance is still with rippletrade. NanamiIsLove
My guess is, you didn't import your wallet. gray
gray
I'm not familiar with how rippletrade worked, but do you not have access to your account secret key(s)? If you do then you can control your XRP regardless of using Gatehub or not; any wallet software would work. You could import into gatehub if you want, but obviously you might not want to do that, so you could try any other ripple wallet software.

In RippleTrade there was ALWAYS that urgent warning to write down your secret key and to keep it in a save place as losing your secret key could result in a complete loss of your funds. So those that used Ripple Trade and do not have their secret key... or couldn't read, or were ignorant, or were just stupid.... BTW Gatehub has EXCELLENT service but cannot be responsible for neither RippleTrade, neither those that lost a secret key. @crypto_rippler digg up that secret key(s) and after you logged in @gatehub you go to wallet and press "+" to add wallet: After that, you select the tab "import", enter a name you want to give to your new wallet and than enter the secret key that you could digg up. And if it's a valid one... just press import. Simple as that. But neither @enej , neither @gregor neither anyone from Ripple can help you to find the secret... otherwise it wasn't a secret.... crypto_rippler
@kanaas Thanks for your reply. I did write down my secret key and also had it save don my computer but my HDD went bust so can't access it. I also can't find where I wrote it down as it was a few years ago. I am familiar with importing the wallet but still I appreciate you taking the time to illustrate the steps, so thanks:)

This I completely disagree with and so do many other people. Not replying to several customer tickets for months, and maybe never; do you call that "EXCELLENT service"? I am curious to know what your affiliation with gatehub is? No one is asking them to be responsible for RippleTrade, the error was on GateHub side but never mind trying to resolve this, it seems to be too much of an ask even to reply to their customers. I have several emails for proof.

Quit being so disrespectful and self-entitled as if you've payed for it. Don't misunderstand me .. I get it ... it's wrong you have to wait months for the reply... but perhaps you can use the time that you wh$"# on this forum to actually read how to get it back in a different way. Free international 24/7 support is a right nowadays it seems... (Sorry but not sorry for being rude.) kanaas
