Gatehub Transaction history issue

Rebo

Recommended Posts

I have already sent this message to Gatehub support but was wondering if any of you guys had come across this issue.

I am new to investing so I am not sure how worried I should be about this?

I made 2 smaller deposits earlier in the day each for just over 200 XRP with no issue and all data for these transaction is present and correct.

I  have not long ago purchased XRP: 1518.2538 and sent it to my wallet.

The transaction completed and the XRP: 1518.2538 was successfully deposited to my account bringing my total XRP balance up to 2,303.0272 XRP.

Both the 'Recent activity' panel and 'Transaction' tab initially showed this transaction but after I refreshed the page this information disappeared, although the XRP balance still shows correctly as 2,303.0272 XRP.

So I can not find a TX Hash for the transaction in my transaction history and the recent activity information in the side panel has disappeared, but my balance remains correct.

Any idea what is going on?
Is my 1518.2538 XRP deposit safe?

I am having the same issue today at Gatehub. The transaction history for my 2 transactions disappeared.

Also, the xrp that I send is not showing up at my bitstamp wallet.

I've email support, hopefully someone will get back to me soon.

Xrp was deducted from my GateHub wallet, the Xrp did not arrive my Bitstamp wallet and now transaction history simply disappeared on gatehub.

Also pm @enej

The transactions have been applied to the ledger, they where/are missing from display because of the xrpcharts outage.

the problem is the bitstamp engine hasn't seen the deposits, thus it hasn't credited your account

I just checked my Bitstamp account and I don't see the xrp from gatehub deposited in my bitstamp account yet.

Just checked my Gatehub walllet, the xrp have been deducted from my balance and the 2 transactions from today are still not showing up.

Correct, bitstamp missed those transactions - I have one missing as well.

But it does appear on the actual ledger, which is why it has been deducted from your account. Using the right tool, you will be able to find it by looking up your account.

The transactions are not showing on gatehub, because they rely on the xrpcharts data API for certain data,

xrpcharts is still updating with data it missed during the outage ( once charts has the missing data, the transactions should populate in gatehub )

Punch your address here and you should see your transactions

Thank you Segra, so far you seem to be the only person that actually knows what the issue is, I really appreciate you helping.  I'm not as worried right now.  However until it shows up in my wallet it's still a bit stressful to say the least.

I tried looking up my GateHub wallet and transactions from the RPC Tool using my GateHub Wallet Address. I do see the 2 transactions I did today but can't make out exactly what all the information is on here.

https://ripple.com/build/ripple-info-tool/

Update:

1st Transaction on Gatehub today:  I have received the xrp that was send in my wallet

2nd Transaction on GateHub today:  (Still not seeing this in my Bitstamp Wallet)

Second Transaction to Bitstamp (This one is still missing)
Wallet: rDsbeomae4FXwgQTJp9Rs64Qg9vDiTCdBv
Destination Tag: 51546704

I believe this should be the HASH: 40C32E42FEC80204E54BC1A8900C8002C088EF10A3FE052F28365C6D1003B32C

Here's what I get from putting in my GateHub Wallet using the RPC Tool.  Are you able to tell if the transaction that was send from Gatehub to Bitstamp was received at Bitstamp?  I have gone back on Bitstamp to verify the Deposit Wallet Address and Destination Tag is correct.

I've had also quite an awful experience with Gatehub.

I am from the beginning on this forum and on the previous one and I am amazed how easily some people discard criticism when it comes to Gatehub customer service.

I was trying to get transactions history for taxation purposes from Gatehub.  There were various recommendations, unfortunately without success for me.

Nevertheless, when comparing with other Exchanges/Gateways, it is a long way for Gatehub to improve and what worries me the most is that it seems that there is some complacency in their behavior which I consider dangerous.

If you separate your identity here with your identity with Gatehub, they simply ignore you and you need several emails for them to catch up, throw a bs/standard answer and then silence again. Both @enej and Klas Urekar.

Just to make things clear: it was not one instance (one topic only), but more than one.

I remember previous conversations on this forum where they said "Yes, we know we need to improve, we will.." and so on, but not much seems to have improved during the last year. Even as we speak, like for the last two days, when you want to look at history of transactions this is what you get"

"RIPPLE DATA ERROR

Unable to retrieve transactions from Ripple Data API

Please try again later"

People looking at all my previous post will understand that I am a big supporter of Ripple and stated my thoughts even when the tide was contrary but now I believe that Gatehub does not provide the level of service they brag about and it feeds itself with the positive image coming from Ripple.

I also believe that the image that they are doing a great job (which was a valid point one year ago) is overrated and it was fed lately also by the increasing level of cheerleading and need to please coming from some of the members here. This is no longer valid and it seems to me that it turned to a level of complacency which is dangerous both for Gatehub and for its users.

Also, the employees seem to be overloaded, which is definitely a management issue, so employ more/increase their salaries. Other exchanges such as Bitstamp are witnessing also a high volume in the last months, but they have managed exemplary. Great job done by Nejc Kodric!

With this easy money floating around, if Gatehub has funding issues, why not make a crowdfunding? This would help them a lot unless they are complacent and happy with where they are right now.

Or maybe Gatehub doesn't seem any value in investing further in scaling up their operations? I seriously doubt that this might be the case, but it is still a hypothesis worth investigating.

I kindly invite other members using Gatehub services for an objective non-emotional discussion on the current status and if any improvement is needed. I believe Gatehub users need this and I believe that Gatehub itself needs it as otherwise I foresee that their volume of business will slowly but surely diminish, switching towards competition.

Hoping that Gatehub improves their customer service. I think part of this issue is that they're spread too thin, trying to do too much all at once. Expand customer service, work on ILP, develop a support page, integrate QAU, integrate DASH, upgrade their wallet, create a mobile wallet... They're experiencing growing pains right now, will be interesting to see how it all shakes out.

If it is a funding issue, i'd be happy to help.

If it is a technical issue, maybe you can nicely ask for help and guidance from @joelkatz, @justmoon, @nikb.

Just for the record, you are really causing me trouble here in front of fiscal authorities.

I don't know about others, but I have a increasing bitter taste about how things are overlooked and put under the carpet, no real communication and just silence. Some on this forum are experienced enough to recognize that such behavior has never served well companies.

It is utterly amazing how a company can simply overlook serious issues and nobody else take a stance about it?
