Kraken.com in trouble

Hello everybody,

A view weeks ago I deposited some $ to my Kraken account. It has arrived, but [on hold] since then.
I've send several tickets for help, but no reaction whatsoever... seems that I am not the only one having this problem: https://www.reddit.com/r/KrakenSupport/

 

So if you want to deposit to trade.... have patience.... will take 2 - 3 weeks probably.

My SEPA-payment took half a day last thursday, was useable immediately.
I live in Europe.

Similar stuff are happning at Bitstamp, they are ultra-slow, don't accept some perfectly fine paperwork, and once you send them smth they don't answer for weeks.

I was thinking that probably a lot of people are entering the crypto-currency world, especially because of the high rate of the Bitcoin plus having other STRONG alternatives which weren't present earlier...

I've looked at coinmarketcap.com recently and noticed several billion $ are being added to the overall marketcap, maybe this has something to do with it. A lot of people are getting into the cryptocurrency market and giving all the exchanges a ton of work. 

I made a deposit to kraken.com 2 weeks ago and it went through after one business-day (I live in europe).

Almost every exchange is having volume issues right now.  A huge increase in traffic the last couple months with a ton of new accounts created daily. Definitely worse problems to be had.  I know its annoying for now but once they catch up and are able to keep up we will all see the benefits of this nuisance then.
