BeanCity1987
I was putting all my money for trading onto my Poloniex account. I sent $3,300 in Bitcoin to a USDT wallet on Poloniex. What I actually did was tried to send USD from my USD wallet on coinbase but when I pressed the send button it instantly converted to BTC and sent the money in BTC. The BTC nor money arrived. It says the status is complete but there's nothing in my wallet. What can i do?
Elitefoo
Well you can't send USD to USDT...
namini
Write to Poloniex, I think USDT exist over bitcoin blockchain.
OlivierA
Bitcoin AND Poloniex together...you could wait hours before the transactions shows in your Poloniex wallet.
TB73
Hold tight...you can wait hours and sometimes days for anything to show up in your wallet on poloniex. Even if you send xrp it can take hoursb ut it says the transaction completed because polo received it and then they transfer it into your wallet. That was what poloniex support explained to me. BeanCity1987
This was 2 days ago. It's $3300 And now I can't see it incoming or anything. I think I sent it incorrectly because it's Bitcoin going to a USDT wallet. I can do anything you think will help. Again I'm very new at this and this was a huge huge mistake? ZIGXRP
It's unfortunate but also a lesson learned to all people new to navigating around transfers and deposits to different accounts. Always test your action with a small transfer FIRST. Verify. Then repeat as you're comfortable. It's worth the small transaction fees to see things go as expected before moving larger amounts. BeanCity1987
Very true in retrospect. Now I'm trying to get the BTC back.. I've already submitted support tickets to both sites and it's been 2 days. I expect I'll hear something soon. Just some feedback or something I might can do to help myself I would really appreciate. Thanks again ZIGXRP

ZIGXRP
Positive thoughts. I once sent a transaction erroneously addressed and the system eventually returned it back. Hope you'll have it resolved soon. BeanCity1987
BeanCity1987
I also have a ticket in there that's a couple weeks old also for a different issue. NON answered. I'm hoping for the best.
Elitefoo
With the trollbox closed in polo, you have to resort to writing a ticket >.> BeanCity1987
