Ripple tell us why you have not created a social media marketing team

Recommended Posts

This is for Ripple team. Please tell us why you have not created a social media marketing team. Why doesn't your marketing seem to be very active when compared to ETH?

The community would like to see a more pro active behavior from your marketing department.

Please kindly let us know.

Thanks,

Ripple's marketing and comms department seems inadequate and understaffed, that's why since weeks they're looking to fill these positions -- goes without saying there is no marketing today without involving social media:

MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS

Content Marketer

Content Marketing Manager

Senior Product Marketing Manager, Corporates

Senior Product Marketing Manager, XRP Markets

Exactly

they should have been on that since the beginning

if they did xrp and ripple as a company would be much much higher and well known!

That's not public-facing marketing. That's marketing to other banks and banking networks. XRP is not a forward-facing crypto currency. It's a back-end one.

Also, am not aware of any other "major" company that keeps on retweeting old news.

As a professional marketing department you just don't do that. Don't!

At least rewrite the material, but don't refer to material that has been posted many months ago. Just don't!

Posting old news lets the company look static with no drive and nothing else to talk about than old news.

That's just how it is perceived.

And it's common knowledge that efficient marketing is essential to brand building and awareness.

Dearly hope Ripple's sales team performs a bit different to Ripple's marketing team, if they even have a marketing team.

Yeah, cause they're marketing to consumers, not other banks/financial institutions.

How do you know that who we are currently targeting will remain the case always?

And even if what you say is true, these things aren't mutually exclusive and there is no reason not to have both kinds of marketing. The end goal is to have consumers using the XRP ledger too, don't forget.

What are your motives for NOT wanting better marketing?
