Gateway - what is the max amount I can send?

OK, a little peeved by this. I'm trying to send my Gatehub XRP balance to an offline address, however it keeps reporting that I have insufficient funds to do the transfer. Not only that, but the mere attempt to send the balance has cost me some XRP.

Assume I have 520 XRP. I tried to send 500 XRP (I'm guessing I have to leave the 20 XRP starting balance there.) Gatehub attempts to send then complains about insufficient balance. Do I then have to also deduct the tranfer fee?

Seriously, would it be that hard to let me know what the max amount is that I can transfer, rather than me blindly trying to figure out what is acceptable and what isn't?

Yeah, that can be kind of frustrating when you're trying to clear out unused wallets; trying to get those last few decimals of XRP.

In regards to your issue, remember that trust lines and bid/ask offers reserve 5 xrp each as well. Cancel any unnecessary trust lines and offers before you try to clear out.

If you have trust lines open, your reserve will be more than 20xrp, it's 5 xrp per trust line which you get back if you close them. Gatehub doesn't charge transaction fees for sending xrp, only for trading gatehub ious. There is no max amount of xrp you can send in a transaction, except that you can't send more than you have minus your reserve. Hope this helps.

You're saying sending XRP from a GateHub wallet to another XRP wallet doesn't incur the 0.2% transaction fee?
