Strovu
Can someone explain why the charts on xrpcharts.ripple.com (XRP/USD Bitstamp) are different from the one on Bitstamp directly (also XRP/USD)? First the one on xrpcharts seems to be more real time. And if you look for eamaple at 21h20, the price was 0.2800-0.28272 on bitstamp but it was 0.2752-0.27783 on xrpcharts.... Aren't they supposed to display the same marke:XRP/USD Bitstamp? PurpleCow
pftq
The Bitstamp pair on xrpcharts is not Bitstamp the *exchange.* It's the IOUs issued by Bitstamp on the Ripple network. It's weird yes but Bitstamp's own IOUs do not match up sometimes to their exchange prices, which presents an arbitrage opportunity that I mentioned here: Edited June 7, 2017 by pftq PurpleCow
