Just to make the times clear, do you mean Eastern Daylight Savings Time (EDT) rather than Eastern Standard Time (EST)?

Seriously Brian? *sigh*, yes, I mean EDT or UTC-04:00. I went through the info above and made the change

Even expert traders will admit that technical analysis is more of an art than a science. I must admit, I lack the art; staring at charts makes my head spin. So I've developed a revolutionary price prediction technique. My prediction engine uses state-of-the-art centripetal technology to assiduously follow every law of physics, both Newtonian and quantum. Its predictions are 100% unambiguous with none of the uncertainty resulting from technical analysis. So without further ado, I present to you a video of my analysis.

My prediction: 1 XRP = 7.5 bananas = 0.75 USD. Gatehub

Send my winnings to: rBA1hcPpurahVK6sZn5Jyhpcv4mCYi4WqN

XRP deposited: affirmative

How about bigger bets, like 200 xrp/ each?

I prefer to keep it small for now to encourage participation, more of a fun way to lord over others your prediction prowess vs. serious gambling. That being said you can make as many 20 XRP bets as you like. That 200 XRP spit up 10x will provide far more coverage

Given the rules of the prediction game wouldn't it be in everyone's best interest to wait until Saturday at 23:59:59 (midnight) EDT to place their bets?

There is no benefit for placing a bet earlier in the week (e.g., on Tuesday you are predicting where the price will be in 5 days) vs. placing your bet at the very end (e.g., Saturday night you are predicting where the price will be in ~24 hours).

Regardless, I plan to participate weekly.

this is true, to make it slightly more interesting , i suggest  a little earlier cut off date from next week. Even Thursday end will do. really pretty much same uncertainty if one makes a call on monday or Thursday or even Friday .. only when its too close, it gets easy (some times )...

Hear, hear all you frenetic XRP traders. If you read between the lines of what one of our most highly regarded (and deservedly so) analysts said, he can make a pretty good call of what will happen in the next day or two but trying to predict what the price will be next week is anyone's guess. So do not worry about the price of XRP next week, for next week will bring worries of its own. Today’s XRP price is worry enough for today.
