adrianmuresan
Hi, I made a wire transfer into my GateHub wallet 14 days ago. I am from the US and I was aware that the transfer might take longer than usual. However, I am starting to think that there might be a problem with my wire transfer. I made the wire at my local bank. Together with an agent, we inputted all the information provided, INCLUDING the reference number, and double checked it to make sure. The agent then provided me with an FTRA (Funds Transfer Request Authorization) copy, which shows all the wire information. Looking at my copy, all the recipient information is correct, as well as the bank information. However, the only thing that does not seem to be straight forward is where the agent placed the reference number: There are two sections at the bottom of the recipient information section Additional Reference Information : (this is left blank) Additional Bank Instructions : REF XXXXXXXXX (this contains the reference number and has the "REF" prefix) I talked to the bank again and they provided me with an MIR/trace number that I could provide to someone from GateHub that is willing to assist me. It's been 2 weeks and I am trying to finalize this long process. I find it frustrating that I have yet to be able to get some assistance. At this point, I'm not sure if GateHub still hasn't looked over my deposit or something is wrong with the wire transfer causing the funds not to be deposited. Either way, I have not heard back from them, although I've been desperately trying to contact support. Should I keep waiting ? EDIT : Thank you Enej! cmbartley
Which bank did you send the wire from? Are you sure that they are able to transmit to Bitcoin-related companies. Note that Reiffeisen Banking Group, as well as Standard Chartered Bank, Deutsche Bank, and Commerzbank, do not process bank transfers that originate from bitcoin related businesses (so they may not send to Bitcoin-related businesses either). I don't think this is the problem but it is worth checking. A public service would be a crowd-sourced thread that lists known originating banks that work and those that don't work for depository and withdrawal wires from various banks in various locales. It's Bank Of America. I don't think that should be an issue.

cmbartley
This is the bank that Bitstamp and Gatehub use to process wires, I wonder if they have a plan in place in the event that the bank fails: http://www.reuters.com/article/gorenjska-results-idUSL5N1GS34Y

It took 15 days but eventually went through. Apparently they are super busy and can't handle the volume of requests. Hope that gives you some ease.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Mercury

Keep in mind for some odd reason bank wires pause on weekends, bank holidays and full moons.
