Hi,

I have earned few Ripple by working hard. However made a mess by giving wrong Destination tag. The destination tag I have given while withdrawing is actually my current deposit address tag. However, my withdraw address is correct. Now, where will my money go? Back to deposit address or destination address? I called my destination address wallet guys, they said you shouldn't include destination tag.

All this happen on Bitrexx.com. I raised ticket but not sure what will happen.

Will I get it back or it's gone?

PLZZZZ help me by checking the above details..

Hey,

I just checked and your wallet has funds in it. It says success. How much did you send from bittrex? it says you have 312.98 xrp in your wallet. you dont necessarily need a destination tag unless youre using a hosted wallet. in your case, it should have either denied it, or bypassed the dtag. go to this address and put your account info in and youll see the amount.

I have sent 312.98 xrp from Bitrexx.

I'm new to this. I earned it my doing small data entry work for a client.

I'm a fool to enter destination tag of my current address on Bitrexx.

Will I possibly get it back?

Your ripple wallet has 312.98 xrp in it. It arrived May 26 at 16:20 EST from Bittrex.

Your wallet has no destination tag so the sender ignored it.

Hope to get it resolved by tomorrow. I will call my destination wallet network.

@Mercury is correct - if this is the receive address for your wallet, you still have the XRP.  It's listed as 312.98.  I'm using the account explorer on https://xrpcharts.ripple.com/#/graph

to view your account and its transactions.

Who sent you the XRP?  They have 223,674,353 XRP in their wallet!

It's just a normal withdraw from Bittrex.

If you were withdrawing to your own Ripple account, you can just ignore the destination tag. It's just used for the recipient to know who to credit, but if *you* are the recipient, you already know who to credit -- you.

If, for example, you're sending XRP to Bittrex, they need to know whose account to credit. So they need a destination tag.

I realized after I posted this that it's probably their primary company wallet, and they're probably a major business partner with Ripple, so yeah, I'll temper my astonishment... :pardon:
