Problems Enabling 2-Step Verification

Has anyone had problems enabling the 2-Step Verification for GateHub?   Google Authenticator is installed on my phone.  After scanning the QR code, I receive the six-digit code and enter it into the appropriate field.  After entry, I receive the following message:


Wrong verification code, please try again.

Yes, my device is "time synced" (checked and verified).  Yes, I have submitted this question to GateHub (no response as of yet).  Yes, I read the instructions for enabling 2-step verification on GateHub.  I use the 2-step verification for Coinbase and have no problems there; my problems are with GateHub.

Has anyone encountered this problem with GateHub and successfully overcome it?  Thanks.
