Sandy_Eggo
Yep. I shot myself right in the big toe. I deleted a throwaway email account - not realizing it was the one I used to setup my Coinbase account. Several weeks later, I went to login to Coinbase (from home with my same laptop as always) and it suddenly wanted to validate me by sending an email w/ link. Only problem...that email account was toast. I'm locked out. Terrific. I read in Coinbase's online support what I needed to do was create a new account, setup with same bank and credit accounts, upload ID to verify, etc. and then contact support to complete the process of migrating old account to new (i.e., to get my BTC back!). It's been about a month and I still have nothing but an automated reply from Coinbase. I'm guessing I'm not the first person to go through this nightmare. Can anyone offer any ideas on how to get this resolved? TIA
