atr5212
Hey All, So I bought a number of XRP back in 2014 and after recently seeing the price spike I decided to check in on how many I actually had. I decided to use Ripple Desktop Wallet to manage my XRP, of which I have around 40,000 and for some reason the wallet is telling me that there is a XRP/USD exchange rate of 19.19 if I try trading my XRP for USD. Has anyone encountered this issue and why would this thing be telling me the exchange rate is so far away from what it actually is (more like 3:1)? Thanks so much! Mercury
Who is the issuer of the USD?
Malloy
To add what @Mercury is asking, if you're not sure how to trust issuers you may want to open an account with a exchanges listed here https://ripple.com/xrp/buy-xrp/ and transfer your XRP to that account.
