Samuel
How can you transfer Bitstamp USD from Gatehub to Bitstamp without losing money? Is there a way to send an IOU from Gatehub to Bitstamp or a bank account for 1:1 exchange?

You can simply deposit USD via Ripple to Bitstamp...send a payment to the deposit address and your destination tag and use Bitstamp USD. They are gonna be redeemed at 1:1. Then, you can transfer your USD.Bitstamp IOUs to Bitstamp...check in "deposit USD".

I think it exchanges Bitstamp USD to Gatehub USD then sends the money, and Gatehub USD is trading for .88 6 minutes ago, Malloy said: Place an order with this pair: USD.Bitstamp/USD.Gatehub. If you have bitstamp you can redeem 1:1. If you have gatehub it is even better for you. Edited May 18, 2017 by tulo alif059
Samuel
No I have Bitstamp USD. Its really confusing me how to do this. Do I send via instant on Gatehub?
namini
I've not used Bitstamp for a long time but on Bitstamp in the menu you should have a Deposit option Ripple (BTC,USD) and they'll tell you to send your funds to this address. And On Gatehub, in Instant, in the dropdown menu you should be able to select USD? You can always import your secret key in Ripple desktop wallet if you can't send from Gatehub. Do I send via instant on Gatehub? on Bitstamp under withdrawl click Ripple (BTC,USD) on top you will see "The destination must trust rXXX address". copy that address. go to gatehub under your wallet, click advanced in the lower right bottom of the page, click set trust, add that copied address and voila! you should see bitstamp added like this screenshot. No need to add any trust lines to DEPOSIT. Just if you send USD from bitstamp to Ripple wallet, not the other way around...but it doesn't hurt. phaseshift
I've been trying to do the same thing that @Samuel is trying to do. I can send USD from Bitstamp to Gatehub no problem and it shows up as USD.Bitstamp. What I'm trying to do is send USD.Bitstamp back to Bitstamp from Gatehub. Is this possible? So my question is how gatehub USD differerent in price with bitstamp usd under the trade view on Gatehub? lol i've been researching this matter for weeks, the only way I think to make 1:1 ratio is to wire your money to your bank from Bitstamp and then wire it back to Gatehub, which take days. Same thing if you try to trade Bitcoin ther will be a Bitstamp BTC and Gatehub BTC. let me know if you find something bro!
GodPilot
I'm having the same issue. When I try to send Gatehub USD to my Bitstamp USD Ripple address I have to spend around 4% extra to get the same amount in Bitstamp. How do you buy Bitstamp USD with Gatehub USD for 1:1?
