DO NOT CLICK ANY LINK IN THAT EMAIL!

Edit: This is the first thing to remember. Then you can start thinking what to do next. Can you see where the link is taking you (hover over link and see address)? It can very well be a phishing email, trying to freak you out, pressing the link, going to a phishing website that imitates gatehub website, and you quickly fill in your password to change password 'to prevent others from changing so'. Then you are successfully phish-ed (not sure if that is a word).

You can contact Gatehub what is going on.

Can you copy-paste the email here (make sure any identifiable information is left out), so we can see what it is?

Edit2: it can also very well be that someone is trying to enter your account and pressed 'forgot password'. I guess people need your security passphrase to change the password (can someone verify?). As long as that one is safe you should be ok. Contact Gatehub anyway to ask.

unless you've made a typo, that surely doesn't look like the real gatehub email.....

gatehuib.net  - SCAM !!!

See how convincing those things can be when you panic?

ALWAYS check where links bring you. There are two "typo's" in that email address.

Beware that sender email can be faked.

If security info has been lost. Make sure you change login information, but check carefully the website where you do it.

I've had a look at the raw email file. It seems valid, and the links are valid (point to signin.gatehub.net)

But never click any link if you did not request a password reset mail.

@enej tagging you to inform multiple users seem to have unwanted password reset requests

DO NOT CLICK ON ANY LINKS. THE EMAIL HAS NOT BEEN SENT BY GATEHUB !!!

Anyone who has an example of this email please forward it to security@gatehub.net so we can take a closer look and take appropriate actions to take the scamming domain offline.

Thank you.

If your email client doesn't let you view all headers, get a different email client! It's easy to fake the “From” header, and you're more likely to spot it if you can see all headers.

I got a password reset email also, this is coming from the real gatehub email with a real gatehub link to reset the password. Seems like some mass hacking attempts on gatehub accounts might be starting. I do have 2 fa on so In my case this shouldn't be a problem.
