namini
if Gatehub activated your wallet and sent you 20 XRP (if you verify your phone number they should activate your wallet) you can connect a trust line for Bitcoin and generate a bitcoin deposit address. Tell us if you need activation, your public address (start with a r...) is at left bottom of the Wallet page on Gatehub, someone will help you. GR78
Yeah, I'm still having problems. I did receive 20 xrp from gatehub and it seems as though the account is active. However, when I log into coinbase to try to transfer/exchange the balance to xrp I'm getting the same error message (posted in the screen shot above). I have tried numerous times and I'm entering the addresses correctly.. Apparently I'm missing something here, any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks!! GR78
This is the exact error message I'm getting. It just says that the address is invalid, which it *shouldn't* be.

GR78
Is this why I'm having problems? It is now showing that my account is disabled. Edited May 18, 2017 by GR78
GR78
And when I click "enable" I get a prompt to "set trust" along with a prompt to enter a password. When I enter my password I get response saying that the password is incorrect. I have all of my passwords saved, and none of them work.
T8493
Have you connected a BTC gateway? Based on the net worth of your account I would say no.

You can't "set trust" because you don't have enough XRPs in your account. Try sending a small amount (e.g. 20-30) of XRPs to your account first. GR78
Just now, T8493 said: Have you connected a BTC gateway? Based on the net worth of your account I would say no. All I have done thus far is: open a gate hub account (and completed the verification process), and opened a coinbase account (and bought bitcoin). I was under the impression that the transfer of bitcoin from coinbase to gate hub would have been fairly easy, I was wrong!

I can't seem to transfer my bitcoin to gate hub so I can convert it to XRP. Are you saying I should try to move XRP to my coinbase account? I apologize for being so naive, this is all extremely new to me. Thank you (all) for your help! Edited May 18, 2017 by GR78
GR78
I've also tried using shape shift after finding a tutorial video on youtube with no success. The transaction ultimately timed out after roughly 10 minutes and showed that it had been aborted.
