ronrc3
Hi All, I'm a newbie here, so pardon any silly questions. I created a gatehub account a few days ago. i opted for the 2-step verification. I've been trying to log into it since yesterday - on entering the user id and password, the site prompts me for a verification code. On entering this (they had texted this to me when setting up the 2 step authentication), the page literally does nothing. I've had the same result on chrome, iexplorer and firefox - so doesn't seem to be a browser specific issue? I saw some posts from 4 days ago where gatehub had been experiencing a multitude of issues which they seemed to be on their way to solving. Wasn't sure if the above is related to that? Appreciate any insight. Is there any user support contact number - didn't see one on the website. Many Thanks, Ron
DarthTrader
hi @ronrc3 If you entering the correct code (6 letters) the site will continue by it self. It can be a litte confusing in the 2fa app wich is the Gatehub one. Just try the others
ronrc3
Hi DarthTrader (love your handle!), isnt the verification code the 4 digit number they send you by text when creating the 2-step authentication? If not, where can I access the 6 letter code you mention from please? many thanks, Ron

I don't know if there is another way, as I'm new here.
namini
4 digit number you received by sms, might be the code you receive to verify your phone number, you receive this code once and it's not used to login. If you enabled 2AF, you need Google Authenticator app on your phone, I assume when you enabled they asked you to scan a QR code and save a recovery code in case you lose your phone. ronrc3
Appreciate the helpful responses. @namini, you are right, I recall now scanning a QR code to get the 6-string on google Authenticator when setting up the 2AF. However, on thus occasion, it doesn't give me a QR code to scan, but still asks me for a code. I cannot recall a recovery code - which might well mean I didn't save it! Yikes! Does this mean I can't access the wallet anymore? Fortunately it's an empty wallet - can I create another one by creating another account in Gatehub? namini
Just create a new account if it's empty, it's really not easy to regain access. And backup 2AF recovery code & Gatehub recovery key : print them don't keep them on anything connected to the internet. Also, always have an up-to-date antivirus.
