Khaiger
I am trying to send some XRP from my wallet to another address using the minimalistic wallet but I get the following error message. {"result":"tejMaxLedger","result_message":"Transaction LastLedgerSequence exceeded","engine_result":"tejMaxLedger","engine_result_message":"Transaction LastLedgerSequence exceeded","message":"Transaction LastLedgerSequence exceeded"} Earlier it was saying that I insufficient funds in my wallet (which was not true because I had more funds in it than the amount I was sending), and now it's saying the above. Funny thing is, I did succeed in sending some amount of XRP from the said wallet to the said address earlier. So it's a mystery to me why I'm not able to do it anymore. Mercury
Are you leaving enough for the reserve?
Professor Hantzen
It's a scaling problem with ripple's public servers (which the minimalist client, and many other wallets use). They are struggling to cope with a sudden increase in demand, and Ripple is working on a fix. In the meantime, keep trying every few minutes - it may eventually work. Guest
1. It looks like you have just under 40 XRP (40000000 "drops", 1 XRP = 1000000 drops) here. Try sending less so that you keep at least 20 in reserve. (There is a 20 XRP wallet reserve minimum.) 2. Disconnect and reconnect to the network or reload the wallet script.
Professor Hantzen
The error was "Transaction LastLedgerSequence exceeded". When the minimalist client (and other clients) construct a transaction, it includes a field which specifies a ledger index a few ledgers ahead of the current ledger. In simple terms - it's a "timeout" for a transaction. If the server gets around to accepting the transaction and that ledger has already passed, the transaction will fail with this error. As well as this, as others have pointed out, you are trying to send more than you actually have available, as you need to leave some for the reserve. However, the actual error you received was to do with the scaling, not the low reserve. Had the scaling not been an issue, you would have received a different error making it clear you were attempting to send more than you have. I tried sending less than that so the remaining amount was more than 20 XRP, and it worked. Thank you!!

namini
are you sure you have not the same problem as the other guy: Are you leaving enough for the reserve? Try sending less so that you keep at least 20 XRP in reserve. Otherwise, it's maybe the network having issues or your connection.
