On what date did you set the regular key and delete the master key? This account has been deleted and re-created so many times it's difficult to know who is doing what. Did you ever delete the account or was that someone else?

Also, what date did you originally activate the account, and what software or service did you use to generate the address?

  • 2 weeks later...

I was an XRP holder of 18000 Tokens that took me a long time to save and buy.

All my tokens wtere on my Nano X for long term investing.

While trying to set up a trust line for the Coreum Airdrop, my Ledger was hacked by

Who I thought was a Coreum Support technician. I did not authorize this transaction, only clicked on a site,

Then they were gone.

I kept a copy of the stolen xrp withdrawal and provided it to various police agencies - but they are not helping me.

Subsequently, I turned to Mel Carmine (a  well known podcaster from Costa Rica - QFS1776) who advised he could retrieve them for me, but he scammed me out of another 4000 XRP - After hiring a detective, I found his real name is CELSO ANDRES FERNANDEZ JIMENEZ.  It was discovered that he has 9 properties - all lien free and vehicles.  His alias on the Internet is MEL CARMINE and he has been scamming people for years - AGAIN I REPORTED THIS ALL, WITH EVIDENCE AND VOICE RECORDINGS TO 5 GOVERNMENT AGENCIES.

I understand from watching Lewis Jackson (a well known podcaster) that at the Ripple Party on Sept 29th, 2023 he found out that Ripple Ledger is working on implementing "CLAWBACK" abilities for those who have had their XRP's stolen through Trustline Scams -  WHICH GIVES ME SOME HOPE FOR ALL WHO HAVE HAD THEIR LIFE SAVINGS STOLEN.

DOES ANYONE  KNOWN ABOUT THE NEW "CLAWBACK" PROGRAM AND HOW TO APPLY FOR IT?  Ledger Support has been NO HELP, NOR ANY OF THE POLICE AGENCIES IN RETRIEVING MY 22000 (IN TOTAL) STOLEN XRP.

I am 61 years old, suffer from Multiple Sclerosis and on a disability that only gives me 1K per month.

Because I believe so strongly in the XRP/Ripple business plan, I invested every penny I had into it.

My mission was to pay off all my debt/house after which to open 2 food banks in our small city.  Now everything

Is gone and I am afraid of going bankrupt and losing my home,

Again, I have contacted Ledger and the 5 Police agencies - filing reports with the FBI, OPP, RCMP, SEC, Costa Rica FBI (OIJ) and to-date have not retrieved any of the funds or updates of assistance.

Thank you for whatever advice you can give me. I am desperate and physically sick over this and hope someone knows anything about a new "CLAWBACK" program through Ledger.

I’m really sorry for your loss.  I wish there was good news for you but the clawback thing isn’t it.

From the XRPL Org documentation:  ”Claw back tokens issued by your account.”

https://xrpl.org/clawback.html

It’s a proposed amendment that allows issuers to clawback IOUs that THEY have issued.  Nothing to do with XRP.  The XRP you’ve lost are not IOU tokens so even if the amendment was accepted by the voting nodes it still would not apply to your XRP.

Unfortunately it seems that crypto scammers are rarely ever apprehended and even more rarely are losses recovered.  Sorry to say that you have probably done all that you can do.

I hope someone else here can offer better assistance,  but that’s how I see it.  Sorry.
