peanut56 Posted June 16 Share Posted June 16 I may not like bitcoin because of power usage, but if blackrock can get an etf, it helps ligitamize crypto, which in turn opens doors for all other coins, and will/could bring actual working regulations to the market. I think this is at least the most tactful strategy even if bitcoin isn't something I consider viable long term with its current model. (electricity and e-waste). Such an event will literally force qeustions to be answered regarding the space because it will no longer be just crypto-enthusists money going into the market, but large players looking to do what they do.
