XRPGroup
So Coinbase wallet removed all my XRP from my wallet. They sent me a XRP Ledger index page showing where my XRP is. The problem is I cannot access it so I can send it to nano drive. I am aware that I live in NYS and they don't allow us to buy it because of the long drawn out court BS! Can someone explain to me how I can transfer the XRP from the Ledger index page I received. Thanks...
at3n
Did you do anything before the XRP was removed from your wallet? Such as register for an airdrop, connect your wallet to a new website, or enter your 24 words phrase or secret key into any websites? Don't send any more XRP to the wallet that was emptied as it may be compromised.
XRPGroup
Thanks for responding. I think that because I live in NYC I could not purchase it due to the law suite. I had a friend purchase it for me and send it to my coin base wallet. After a couple months it was removed from my account. I contacted Coinbase wallet they sent me an email with link that shows where it is. It docent have a send or receive address from me to transfer to my nano drive. I don't use coin base wallet anymore... F that...
at3n
You're talking about the app called "Coinbase Wallet" right? If so, then there's no way that Coinbase the company would reach in and move your funds somewhere else. It's a personal (non-custodial) wallet and you fully own and control the crypto that's in it. It's very different to keeping it on Coinbase the exchange. Something else must have happened, and it sounds like you were hit by a scam or hack. Can you think of anything at all recently that looked suspicious? If you'd like, you can private message me your coinbase wallet address (beginning with r) and I can see if there's any indication of what happened? EDIT: Have you read this page: https://help.coinbase.com/en/wallet/other-topics/move-unsupported-assets ? It looks like Coinbase Wallet no longer supports XRP (but it would still be there, just not showing). You would need to export your recovery phrase from Coinbase Wallet (Settings -> Show Recovery Phrase) and then import it into your Ledger Nano or another wallet that supports 12-word recovery phrases (This will delete any accounts already on your Ledger Nano so only do it with an empty Nano). It’s hard to trust what anyone says on the internet but I for one would trust any advice given by her (or him).
BillyOckham
Just to add to the above…. I have gold status here because I am long winded and post a lot. People like AT3N should really be that status and not me. Any one of their posts is worth hundreds of mine. at3n and Frisia 1

peanut56
I'm saying this because it was an attempted scam on me yesterday with a group posing as coinbase. I got a call asking me if I had a coinbase account. They provided me with my email address, that was taken during a ledger nano database hack about two to three years ago. Anyway if you got a call like this, it could be a culprit. If not heads up for everyone else. at3n and BillyOckham 1
XRPGroup
at3n - Long story short I couldn't purchase XRP in NYC. So I had a friend of mine purchase it for me he sent it to my Exdos wallet. I felt it would be more secure with Coinbase wallet. So I transferred it to Coinbase wallet on Dec 29, 2022. The transfer went through without a hitch. The next thing I know is was removed from my account in middle of January 2023. After I contacted Coinbase wallet they sent me a XRP Ledger index page showing my XRP. I am totally confused. I tried to send you the Coinbase wallet address but it is not allowing to send you direct message.

We need to work out if it was actually removed or if the Coinbase Wallet app is just not showing it any more. I'll message you and you should be able to reply. at3n
So it does appear that the issue is that Coinbase Wallet no longer shows XRP, and the recovery phrase will need to be used to recover the account to another wallet.
