thomasengels
Very strange, I can exchange between USD:bitstamp and XRP, but I can't trade between this pair. Trustline is added, I have an usd:bitstamp balance in my wallet, but exchange is more expensive then trading. Any ideas? Hodor
namini
I'm not sure which platform you are using. If you just have 20 XRP in your wallet you can only place orders that get executed right away. To place orders that stay on the order book you need more than 20 XRP. Exchange get executed right away, Trade Page offers are placed on the order book, that's why exchange is more expensive I think. Not sure if it helps. Hodor

Or I guess it's fair to say I didn't "notice" this. namini
thomasengels
I have been trading ripple for 3 years now and the issue start occurring when switched to gatehub, sometimes I was able to Trade orders in usd:bitstamp but now the option never occurs, only in Exchange. I have way more then the necessary amount to trade xrp so that can't be the issue.

Are you sure you have bitstamp USD and not Gatehub USD? BTW you don't need trust lines to trade, but you need it for exchange (because it is a payment). namini
USD bitstamp is not listed in the pairs on the Trade page? otherwise, I don't know, you can always import your wallet secret key in Ripple desktop Wallet: https://rippex.net/carteira-ripple.php#/
thomasengels
That is indeed the case, it's not listed in the pairs on trading page.

namini
On Trade page at the top of the page click on your current pair, then on the + button and "Custom". I think Bitstamp is: rvYAfWj5gh67oV6fW32ZzP3Aw4Eubs59B https://www.bitstamp.net/ripple.txt Edited May 4, 2017 by namini
