DEVNULL
I don't remember how I transferred my SGB to Bifrost wallet back during the SGB airdrop back in Dec 2020. (I'm assuming I will transfer my FLR the same way in a few hours.) I've got my ETH account numbers. I've got the Flare network in my metamask extension on chrome. (I am eligible and I've been actively delegating my SGB with the Bifrost wallet.) I believe I need to import my ETH accounts into an app (xrptoolkit? metamask?) Once I've got the accounts, I should just see my FLR after the drop today? No? Then the transfer to Bifrost is straightforward. I just can't figure out how to add my ETH accounts. Do I import them into metamask with the secret key?
DEVNULL
Answering my own question; Maybe?... Further exploring...I opened my XRP accounts (a Ledger one, and a self-custody one)in XRP Toolkit. I can see my associated FLR addresses in the account summary page. I'm guessing once the FLR arrives, I'll be able to use the XRP Toolkit to send it over to my Bifrost wallet. Can anyone confirm this?
PunishmentOfLuxury
Briefly, your FLR (if you get any) will exist on the Flare Network, which is entirely separate from the XRPL and cannot be managed with the XRP Toolkit. Have a good read of this: https://www.stedas.hr/flare-network-everything-you-need-to-know.html DEVNULL
DEVNULL
Thank you for the info. Yes, I was following that. I get to step 7a, and my account number doesn't appear. I've tried next, next, but no luck.
DEVNULL
Solved. I used two iOS devices. Imported the MEW addresses to bifrost wallet on iPad, changing the address derivation string for each eth address. Sent the FLR to my permanent bifrost wallet on my iPhone each time. This merged all my FLR into one account.

Quote Presently MetaMask uses derivation path value to be m/44'/60'/0'/0 , which is technically only correct for Ethereum, and incorrect for RSK and other Ethereum-compatible networks. It does currently support custom derivation paths only for hardware wallets. ^ I think you need to set a custom derivation path. DEVNULL
DEVNULL
Lol. I did this 2-1/2 years ago. Took me 4 hours of struggle and fiddling with metamask before I finally remembered the two-bifrost wallet trick. Gringo

Updating your browser ect ect. Never rely on any wallet to store your keys. BillyOckham
