XrpJonny
Hey guys, I did the Snapshot back in the day using the ledger. When it asked for the etherium address I used the address from my Coinbase Wallet , it said I had to pick one that I had to seed phrase to so I use that one. I can see the songbird and flare that I’m supposed to get on XRP scan, when I put it in that Ethereum address I can see it. I figure because I didn’t use the Ethereum address on my ledger that is why I’m having problems seeing it on MetaMask. Does anybody have any suggestions on how I can access the songbird? I Heard Mickey B fresh say some thing about changing a message key but I have no idea how to do that. I really wish I could understand this but I am very computer illiterate and at my wits end. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank u
ftso_au
There’s a Songbird app for Ledger, and soon there’ll be a Flare app. Installing the Songbird app means you’ll see you SGB on Ledger Live. Integrating MetaMask and your Ledger can be done with these instructions … https://www.ftso.au/songbird-network/2021/10/04/setup-ledger-nano-with-metamask-songbird.html Seoulite
XrpJonny
I did put the songbird app on my ledger, made sure it was latest update, but I cannot see songbird on ledger. Also I integrated ledger and metamask but still no songbird. If I look on Xrp scan I can see it . Do you think because I used my coinbase wallet eth address is messing it up? Thanks for replying 👍
XrpJonny
Also when I hook up ledger to metamask and it has all those eth addresses to pick from should I scroll through and look for the eth address I used for the songbird/ flare snap shot? A video I was watching said to pick the first one, but I noticed there are a ton to choose from

BillyOckham
8 hours ago, XrpJonny said: If I look on Xrp scan I can see it Don’t confuse the XRP Ledger with the Songbird or Flare network. They are three different blockchains. What you see on xrpscan is a link to the Songbird explorer which then looks at the Songbird blockchain just like the XRPScan explorer which was looking at the XRP blockchain. I know that doesn’t help with your ledger issues etc (I don’t have one) but thought it might help your overall understanding. Forgive me if it was already obvious. XrpJonny
All good Billy I appreciate all the help I can get. Also thank you FTSO. I have a strong feeling the reason I can’t find the eth address is because I used my coinbase wallet eth address for the snapshot. If I put that address in the Songbird Netwerk I can see the songbird I should get. I just don’t know how I can get that address onto MetaMask. Or if there’s any other way I can access it I don’t know? I followed all the directions but I can’t get it to show

I followed all the directions but I can’t get it to show coinbase wallet with a word list? then you can recover the private key from that word list somehow. If you instead mean eth deposit address from coinbase's centralised website? Then no. Coinbase controls the key. Can you confirm you're talking about the actual coinbase (self custody) wallet? You would have a word list or private key. In coinbase wallet it's likely you can "export private key". If not you need a wallet, app or tool to extract the key from the word list. XrpJonny
Yes ihilda I used my self custody Coinbase Wallet, I have the seed phrase. I just do not know what I need to do to access the songbird. Does anyone know if there’s a way I can export my private keys from the Coinbase Wallet onto Metamask? Thanks again guys good looking out ✊
XrpJonny
Hellz mutha effin’ yeaaa! Thank you guys for all the pointers I can see my Songbird now. I had to export my Coinbase Wallet to MetaMask using a mnemonic calculator and as soon as I did the songbird was there. For those reading this in the future if you used any other eth address besides the one on your ledger you will have to export your private keys to MetaMask to see your Songbird/flare. Thanks again fellas ✊
