Mazza Posted April 30, 2017 Share Posted April 30, 2017 yeah I am. Absoultely don't do it that way, that is rely on your banks exchange rate. Have you found the Coinfloor exchange. I believe it's most of the most used GBP Bitcoin exchanges. It still operates with an EEA bank (in this case a Polish one) but you only have to pay for the SWIFT transfer to your UK account... approx. 25 squid (pounds in Brit slang for non UK'ers). Shapeshift might be helpful for you too, I only discovered this yesterday after seeing it around. I've not used coinfloor in much yet, but that is by GBP convertion route I have planned. While on the topic anyone know why no Bitcoin exchanges can do UK national bank transfers, must be some sort of regulations/restriction. hope that helps, maz Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

In my experience of making SEPA transfers to exchanges, GBP>EUR, the FX rates have been 4% away from the true market rate at HSBC and 2% at the Co-op, plus a relatively small fixed fee on top.
