What I don't get is this, how come she can't say anything, when Bill Hinman can go on national TV and declare ETH a non security, which according to SEC lawyers in the Ripple case, is actually the stance of the corporate finance division. Seems to me, SEC officials can talk about these kind of things, when it suits them. Hester dear your agency is a mess, it appears there are at least two type of staff at the SEC, the ones who work for Wall st, JPM and Goldman etc and the rest of you, you had better pick a side soon! Most of the rats have already left this sinking ship, so do the right thing and blow the whistle or you might go down with the ship. I like Hester, I only wish her well, I just don't want to see her get embroiled in this mess, where she ends up being seen very publicly, as the one who knew too much and did nothing.

That’s asymmetrical warfare.

She is playing by the rules and the bad guys are not.  The asymmetry gives them the advantage.  You see this played out in many aspects of government.
