^^^ Everyone in crypto:  "wah, wah - the 'distribution' problem!"   (If only there were some sort of obvious answer - or at least a decent start!)

More jokes:  "Hi, my name is Ripple and I hear that Elon Musk wants to buy Twitter and run it almost like a real business, or monetize it, or turn it into a utility or something.  Well, we here at Ripple hate business, money, and definitely are totally not into uti... oh..."

Perhaps the stupidest thing I have heard Mr. Schwartz say. Isn’t this the same man that is spearheading decentralized currency exchanges?? What a pure progressive tool. Useful idiot is a more accurate term.
Only a fool believes he (or any human) can distinguish “reasonable and sensible” speech. The entire evolution of science and humanity is a direct result of diverse opinions, most of it considered unreasonable or nonsense when proposed.

Mr. Schwartz wants to send us back to the glory days of imprisoning those that speak “untruths” such as  “the sun is center of the solar system”

Ironic the term progressive is used to describe those humans that long for the ancient days of complete government control. Wouldn’t be surprised if Mr. Schwartz prefers that the pope rules us all. It worked so well during the middle ages, because the pope speaks and listens to God- what could possibly go wrong with that?

Ahh, good 'ole Musk, defender of free speech:

Just another billionaire who has enough money to project his own reality.  People pick weird messiahs instead of banding together to effect change.

Oh wait, they can't..

Fair :)

Thanks. :)

See, I coulda been meaner about it - but I chose not to do so... had to work at it, too.  Almost like a job, but different!

Was all primed and ready to go with "So, the guy who's a fan of the guy who wrote Choices, Values, and Frames has problems with people making choices, having different values, or changing frames?  I suggest you read Kierkegaard - particular attention to Concept of Irony" - but, no, I went for the laugh to defuse the tension and not sound like total pedant that I actually probably mostly am (or at least fear that I'd sound like, to most people, if I really told the truth).

I prefer laughs.  Smiles are good, too.  Always consider either of those a win - or at least an incremental step toward.

Beats starting a war.

(Speaking of which - gotta gear up to defuse whatever's coming with this "You got a problem with the Pope?" thing - totally see "Well, you do, now!" coming... :))

Willing to compromise at "Agree To Disagree" and avoid war over this particular point, but, hey, we'll see - thought Popes were into war-avoiding; maybe I'm wrong?
