There is a shadow government, not in the sense of some organized group, but in the sense that there are people who are able to use their power and connections to influence governments in ways that the normies who think government works like how they learned in their school textbooks don't see.

I don't think there's some Ethereum maxi shadow government, just some people and organizations who have been able to use their influence to get the government to turn a blind eye to Ethereum.
