Geeeky
Each time I try to send XRP, I receive the message: ''Transaction Error: Master key disabled'' I can see the Regular Key in my case because it shows in the ''raw data'' in my previous transaction on bithomp. How can I fix this please?
at3n
I'm afraid you've likely been taken in by a scam. Many other people on this site have reported the same thing, and most of them are trying to send from the same "rDxoj..." address. It seems that this address was sold or otherwise distributed to many people to trick them into thinking that they owned it. But the actual owner of the address disabled the master key so that even though you may know the original master/secret key, it's useless, and the scammer owns all the XRP you send to this wallet. I'm sorry to say there is no resolution to this. For the benefit of others, would you be able to tell us how you came into possession of this this address (so that others can avoid the same trap in the future)? This is my very first attempt into Crypto of any kind and this has been very unpleasant and depressing. ''For the benefit of others, would you be able to tell us how you came into possession of this this address'' I am from a country where Cryptocurrency is not accepted by the government of the day, so basically there are ''wallet vendors'' who create and activate the wallet and sell for a fee, then you can fund to your desire. I have been so depressed because this is actually a very huge sum in my local currency and I am doomed if it's true that I can't get back my money. It's so easy for people selling pre-funded wallets to scam people, it's difficult to understand how it is normal in some places. Actually, XRP is unusual, that if you are sold an address, it is possible for you to safely disable the master key yourself and change the key to any other that only you know. But this is only "safe" to do when buying an empty, or low-value wallet, and when you can check that the master key has not already been disabled. Because the scammer can also change the key themselves if they get there first, and steal the wallet back. These scammers are the lowest form of scum to prey on people like this. Do you mind saying, did you send XRP to the wallet, or did you pay in your local currency for the full value of the wallet? I hope that this loss is not too devastating for you and that you can manage to get by. I'm familiar with the financial "grief" with losing a lot of money, and it's very tough, but fades over time. Please stay strong and push through. RobertHarpool

You have really been of great help, though the outcome is not what I intended when I created the original post(I was so sure I would get the desired result of being able to send tokens from the wallet), however, your comments and consolation will help me deal with the loss. Thank you so much! at3n
