According to a report published by German cryptocurrency media outlet BTC-ECHO, the European Parliament, one of the legislative branches of the European Union, has moved to ban Bitcoin and other proof-of-work (PoW) cryptocurrencies.

Also Nexo wants everyone to go through KYC in March - so if you don't want to do that, then maybe it's time to switch:-

Get up to 6.7% on your XRP holdings, paid out in XRP:-

4.7% paid out, no KYC and no lock up period :)

Nope - you didn't have to go through KYC, for a lot of Nexo's basic services - including receiving interest on XRP, but soon you will.

Ok but you needed to KYC to withdraw fiat, Now they KYC you on the way in vs on the way out

So yea it seems some ecologists would like to try (and could succeed to ban bitcoin or at least mining-  not clear) in Europe...

Here are the emails if you want to give an argumented opinion on the matter:

I could only see them banning the burning of fossil fuel for mining. They can't ban solar mining. Bitcoin is too big. It would fork into a proof of stake mechanism if it came down to that

I'm still having trust issues depositing XRP to NEXO. Not your keys not your crypto :I

I can understand but they have some good policies and insurance.

I have put my entire XRP portfolio there for 8 months now, locking it month by month manually. Payed out in NEXO tokens this gave me 12% and made me platinum member.

The only downside is if XRP makes a huge breakout my holdings are locked. But I don't mind until the law suit is finished.
