oogeeXRP
Hi, I'm trying to buy XRP. I have a account with Binance and it's verified. As of right now I can only buy crypto using P2P, awaiting for credit card verification. My account on Binance is registered in Canada but because of travel restrictions I'm stuck in Poland. So when I login to my account with Binance and I go to "buy crypto" using P2P so I can purchase USDT, I select CAD for fiat and I look for sellers. Once I select a seller and input an amount and click "buy usdt" I get this message "As per our Terms of Use, we are not able to provide our services to you. You may withdraw your existing assets from Binance". Does anyone know why? Is it because I'm in Poland (ip address) differences? Do I have to use VPN so my ip address shows Canada? Thanks in advance! I think I found the answer: Dear Ontario user Binance accounts in Ontario will be restricted and users in Ontario will not be able to open new accounts or trade. We recognise that these restrictions may be disruptive in the short term, and we apologise for any inconvenience that they may cause. FAQ : 1. Why do you need to block my account? Binance has blocked Ontario accounts as we do not currently have permission to operate in the province. We are applying to become regulated via the process established by the regulators. Until that time, users in Ontario are restricted from accessing all Binance products and services. We will provide further updates in due course. We apologize for any inconvenience and we thank you for your continued support. Previously you indicated that we will not be offboarded. Why now? We are not offboarding Ontario users. Instead, we are restricting access to all Binance products and services until further notice. Accounts may remain open. You are also able to withdraw your assets and funds should you so wish. Please be assured that your funds remain safe. Edited January 16, 2022 by oogeeXRP spelling, missing words
