Judge granted SEC's Motion to Compel Ripple to search for and turn over video and audio recordings

Thinking objectively, if this is a discovery win for the SEC, maaaaaybe it will bring Ripple to the settlement table and pony up a little more money since this is all the SEC wants. Obviously "clarity for XRP going forward" is an absolute...but at this point I just want this mf thing settled so we can start the countdown to launch.

It could be a win, nobody knows what they are looking for or what they could find. If they find nothing particularly useful then it is another win for Ripple.

I thought so too. Maybe Hogan or someone put out a video or tweet saying it will most likely be granted, and over the last few weeks we just accepted it as the truth.
