Seems like some really valuable knowledge/experience is being gained with SGB prior to Flare launch. I'm gonna be shooting in the dark and yous boys are gonna be waltzing through there with night vision goggles. Don’t worry mate, we are talking a lot here but so far we haven’t actually learned that much. With regards to delegating, so far the best strat has been delegate to the providers with the top rewards on Flare Metrics, regardless of voting power or fee. When F-assets launch, we will learn more about that, but we haven’t really learned that much. It sucks though for people waiting on exchanges. As in what is the user experience like? Are you connecting a wallet to an exchange, doing it through Ledger Live? My eyes just need to see something. Also holding USD you expect someone is willing to accept it in exchange for food/electricity/house. Everything is a speculation in the world my friend. If I expect something to go up in value it's better to hold otherwise it's better to sell. That's why I live on 2% fiat and 98% crypto . Not quite. The US government guarantees that it holds a specific value. It’s very different from speculative assets. Granted that USD value can go up or down, but that is well understood and extremely slow to change. The same holds good for most fiat currencies. There is a significant amount of volatility risk with crypto, and with fiat, obviously the risk is inflation. Depending on individual circumstances and risk appetite, one should maintain a healthy portfolio. Here’s the reason why I have been drawing out the difference. Most here aren’t old enough to know what a real market crash looks like. No, not crypto crash. A complete market crash. Where there are no jobs, no income, all your assets are down, no one willing to give you a loan. All your “safe” investments gone. Your pension plan destroyed. No, most people here only know the economy going up. The most recent “dump” was in 2008 and even that was isolated to those who owned houses. That was 13 years ago. Before that, it was in 2001. 20 years ago. Before that? Most here were not born. Don’t assume that one market or the other will go up, that if crypto is down equity will go up or if both are down, houses will go up. No, everything can go down at the same time, and HAS gone down at the same time. For years. Anyway, I digress Be careful out there. Most of the info we are referring to is at this website: https://flaremetrics.io/ here you can look at the signal providers and sort them by reward rates, fees, vote power, etc. As for wallets, I moved my Songbird to bifrost and am using that. It is extremely easy. Some people are using MetaMask and others are using the websites of the signal providers. I don’t know what that’s like but bifrost is super easy and takes just a few clicks. Are you banned from Bitrue so you can't even buy some SGB to play around with? I know what that's like. If so, get yourself a wallet and I'll send you a few. Since the removal of the gold backing fiat is simply everyone agreeing that the house of cards will still stand. Sometimes it falls as you mentioned. I think subconsciously I'm feeling spread a little too thin, having opened accounts on exchanges I can't even remember, etc. Not that I am holding anything on them or maybe I am and just don't know, just makes me feel a little vulnerable and irresponsible to open another one just to play around with it...but we know what excuses are like huh...so I may take the advice anyway. If your real reason is to get the experience for when Flare launches, you don't need much to learn and test out a few strategies. Or just wait a few weeks and hopefully one of your current exchanges will list it. I don't think you need to rush, the state connector system isn't even out yet, at this rate we'll be lucky if Flare launches before the end of the year. Install metamask browser plugin then go to this websitehttps://app.ftso.com.au/ You have to setup metamask to use songbird network then wrap your songbird and delegate it using the website I linked.
