Desperately Chasing Millions in Crypto Gaming's Next Big Thing

Recommended Posts

We are all privileged to be here, at this moment in time at the dawn of what is destined to be a MASSIVE new industry which will combine Crypto and Online Gaming.

Already online computer gaming revenues dwarf that of the movie and music industries combined.

The craze we've been watching with the NFT "collectibles," and lame digital card games (like Axis Infinity), will pale in comparison to what the like of Fortnight and others will do with integrating crypto and real world rewards...

In this first post, I will attempt to capture and maintain a growing list of items related to a pursuit of earning future gains on promising new projects, and tracking their progress.

If you need some convincing, just spend 24 minutes of your precious time watching Alex Becker's recent video:
"Crypto Gaming Will Make You A Millionaire. Use This Guide"

Thank you for this topic.

I see massive opportunity investing in some low cap gaming gems.

Beside project quantum, which is my favourite, my picks are exeedme and dexioprotocol ( has a presale of their gas token).

Maybe look also into metahero. Is not gaming, but in my opinion a big project.

I would love to here your feedback about my choices.

The two posted above, BLOK and QBIT have certainly got my attention, already on the quantumnetworks discord having a good read. I'm going to chuck a small amount at each for sure. BLOK seems further down the line, hence it's higher price. QBIT is a hodl, but very cheap to get into right now.

Ok I’m a lazy optimist so I’m grateful to you guys especially @JASCoder for doing this.

I’m in the happy (??) position of having some Etherium dust left over from a disastrous fee fiasco.  So I’m wanting to never ever touch Etherium again.

Which means I’d happily swap my ETH dust for some very low valued coin that might grow and help me recoup the $90 fee.  (It’s not the amount but the principle.)

Can I buy any of these things with a MetaMask wallet swap?  Will I be charged ETH Gas fees?  (If so that kills it)

Sorry for newbie questions….  I know nothing of the Defi and Etherium worlds.

I saw somewhere that an investment of 1K in Inu Shiba about 18 months ago would now be worth 200 million.  Seems excessive even for crypto.  I see graphic art that looks to me to be unremarkable fetching high prices on the new NFT market.  Personally I don't want to invest in either Inu Shiba or NFTs, but yes games tokens sounds like an interesting new area of investment.

I am sure these next few years will see the introduction of some extraordinary tokens that will start off worthless and end up giving investors back huge fortunes.  FLR might well be one of them.  Money is going to shift out of conventional fiat based assets into the more dynamic digital world of the Internet Of Value where it will be leveraged into huge new pools of wealth serving purposes that did not exist before money became digitalised.  It will be the biggest growth of wealth in history, bigger than the birth of the Internet.

Please keep us informed @JASCoder

MetaMask works on Pancakeswap (QBIT)

The BLOK token can be acquired on both Kucoin exchange and Quickswap DEX (MetaMask):

Quote

QuickSwap is a permissionless decentralized exchange (DEX) based on Ethereum, powered by Matic Network’s Layer 2 scalability infrastructure. By utilizing Layer 2 for transactions, QuickSwap users will be able to trade any ERC20 asset at lightning-fast speeds with near-zero gas costs.

I've been thinking lately that play to earn games are a synthesis of DeFi and NFTs all wrapped up in an already popular form of entertainment.

Gala Games is coming to Flare and I have a feeling they'll be looking to do some interesting things.

If you want to get into something that hasn't launched yet, Derby Stars is a horse racing game coming out on Terra:

I remember watching this documentary on Second Life, it was a pretty amazing collection of people's stories.

At least one of them was "playing" it full time as a job. She created content for her store, and made a decent RL (real life) living with the income it brought her.

Just look at some of the content creators in youTube playing video games (examples the great Sips and FrankieOnPC), soon the audience won't just be listening, but playing too.

People in Eve Online get sucked in so deep it takes over their life. But most gain no RL monetary rewards at all.

We're one step away from Ready Player One.

I purchase only tokens of binance chain, because is cheap.

I use trustwallet, but metamask should work too i guess.

I buy bnb and transfer it to trustwallet and swap it into bnb chain.

Then use pancakeswap, be sure to set the right slipage, i think for qbit is 8% or more, try increasing it till it swaps. Read about this on their reddits.

Qbit made me a 4x till today, metahero 3x.

Speaking about gaming coins, there is equlibrium, which i got airdroped into xumm wallet via trustline.

Its trading now on bitrue, but there will be still some drops later this year.

Iam holding to it, bitrue also supports staking them.

If they succed with the project, sky is the limit, high risk high reward, but since i got airdroped, not much risk involved in holding it.

I did watch youTuber VoskCoin's recent review of QBIT's Project Quantum (first one of his I've ever seen, he does have 455k subs fwiw) - see link below or at top post.

He gives a pretty good overview of the project - the team, artwork, etc. So it's worth viewing for that info.

My impressions after reviewing the site and Vosk's video, is this...

PROs :

  • Solid team (Scottish), worthy credentials and history of several members
  • Artwork so far is impressive, and their game design has potential
  • Some nice inclusion of novel use of NFTs and incorporating crypto rewards

CONs :

  • Self funded (afaik), vulnerable to QBIT token crashing costing them their source of funding
  • No working prototype/demo yet (one of Becker's key requirements)
  • Could be two years away yet for a working Beta, so this increases risk

I think for now, maybe I'll just start a small stack for long term hold, and add to it when/if the project shows healthy progress.

That's pretty much how I feel about QBIT @JASCoder, it's a bit of a long shot but worth a punt. Almost a wait and forget kinda deal.

I did buy some BLOK today though, remembered I had an account with Kucoin already so was pretty quick to do. Need to find a wallet though that supports BLOK, not a fan of leaving stuff on exchanges.

I’ve been trying (and failing) to add the custom token qbit to MetaMask iOS app so I can swap the ETH dust for qbit.

I’ve somehow got the wrong contract address for the token.  The error appears below.  (Can’t pick my spot for the image in a post…  always appears at end)

I’m stumbling due to lack of knowledge, but I suspect I actually need to somehow get that ETH onto the BNB chain if I really don’t want to lose the dust value in further gas fees.  And then I think I would be using the Binance chain contract address which is presumably different.

I started this nightmare by wanting to buy DogeGf (another bad idea :) ) but only had a hundred bucks and the fees swelled nearly all of that.  But have some ETH dust left.

Any suggestions would be most welcome and appreciated.

I dont use metamask anymore, trustwallet is very simple with bnb tokens.

I dont know what the problem is, but i would suggest transfering eth to binance, change it into bnb and send it to trustwallet.

I think you wont be able to change to bnb otherwise, or maybe iam wrong, please correct me, if thats the case.
