xrp-pat
I've checked my XRP wallet address and can see how much SGB I've been airdropped. Do I need to do anything else? I've read that you can "claim" SGB onto a ledger? Doesn't make sense to me! What are you lot doing with your freshly minted SGB?

Do I need to do anything else? I've read that you can "claim" SGB onto a ledger? Doesn't make sense to me! What are you lot doing with your freshly minted SGB? You have already claimed it. The SGB is yours. Now to the more important question - Both Songbird and Flare have built-in inflationary mechanisms to incentivize participation in the network. I believe it is 10% per year right now. The expectation is that you delegate your votes to the FTSO system to try and avoid losing value on your SGB due to the inflation. Of course, participation is optional and voluntary. If you want to understand more, https://www.ftso.com.au/blog/ has several articles. If you want to understand the details of how the system works, see https://flare.xyz/ftso-a-breakdown/ If you want to delegate your votes, you can use https://app.ftso.com.au/wrap to delegate to any of the 22 registered providers (see https://flaremetrics.io/ftso). You can also use the BiFrost wallet, https://ftso.alexdupre.com, and other similar options. This is also an opportunity to be prepared for the Flare MainNet launch, assuming you choose to be an active participant. Edit: Added Alex Dupre's delegation page Edited September 29, 2021 by Ripley
xrp-pat
Smashing, thanks. I'm going to wrap and delegate it via the BiFrost wallet, seems to be the easiest way to get the ball rolling. But I can't see how to move them to it? I can see them on the chain (via xrpscan.com) but that's it.

I'm not sure if the links I provided above have directions for delegating through Ledger, but you should be able to find them pretty easily. If you have additional questions, my recommendation is to simply join Flare's official Telegram channel.

Like you I claimed on ledger and moved them.
